Some Reiki level 1 energy exercise for all
Here is a way for you to feel energy. It is quite simple actually. If you want to understand what the energy should feel like, the first thing you should grab is two magnets. Take your magnets and put them together. See how they attract. That is how you will be attracted to others who think like you do. That is the energy level you are at this very moment in time. Now take one of the magnets and turn it to the other side. Feel the resistance. Feel how they push themselves away from each other. That is how energy is that you are working up and what will become of your life once you start. You will want to push away from the old energetic areas and into the new ones. You now know what the energy should feel like in your hands as well. Now let’s get you to play with your own energy field with your hands. Once you accomplish this you can move on to other body parts to try this with.
Sit quietly in a spot where there will be no one distracting you. A place where you can meditate and clear your mind of all thoughts, you don’t want anything interfering with you getting to know your energy field. Once your mind has filter all the thoughts it wants to get out there, then you can begin. It is important for us to allow our minds time to process our day. We should do this every day for our minds. It keeps us healthy and able to look at ourselves without judgment. It allows us time to go through what we could have done better. It allows us forgiveness of ourselves and a chance to clean up any mistakes we may have made during the day that could lead us to trauma or regret. It is your chance to look at your day as if you are a performer searching to make yourself better. This will bring your soul to perfection or to as close to perfection as we can get as human beings. You will be able to see others emotions better by reexamining your day. This gives you a chance to change things tomorrow that you made wrong today or wish you could have done better.
Now that we have cleaned our energy aura we can begin with feeling our energy. Take your hands and place one above the other like you are holding a small ball. Focus on the energy between them. You will start feeling tingling and warmth as your energy becomes more powerful for you. It will start feeling like those two magnets that were pushing against each other. You will feel them attached when you try pulling them apart. It is hard to explain the feeling but once you feel it you always know it. This is what you are going to play with. Once you get to know your energy, you can ask your friends to join in and start throwing energy balls at each other. Your hands will start sweating and feel really warm too hot to anyone who touches them. You will feel the heat. This is your energy coming through. If they go ice cold, this is another form of energy. Each has its own use. Some people will have one ice cold hand and the other hot. It depends upon your energy field. There isn’t any right or wrong where energy is concerned.
To disengage we sit quietly meditating. We bring in a cool breeze to bring us back to our day. You can use any visualization you want to bring yourself back to being grounded. Some like to think of themselves as trees. Again there is no right or wrong here only what works for you. Once you are grounded, you will feel totally different. It may be like euphoria for a while. However you feel write it down. You should keep a record of your Reiki/energy practices. This will help you along your way. Keeping a journal also lets you know what is working for you and what isn’t. It will help you to find grounding techniques that you need to turn off the energy. It will help you find the technique that works to turn on your energy. Yes, your energy is always there but you aren’t aware of it. Turning it on and off makes you more aware of it and allows you to go back to various brain waves. Some people are tired or hungry after energy exercises. Whatever you experience follow it.
Well that is all there is to it, like I said, simple. Now you can go play and see where the energy takes you. Enjoy Kittens. I hope this helps you in receiving and giving energy. I hope it helps you to heal. Good luck in your energy training.
