Safe Hollow Animal Sanctuary needs your help

I know we all lead busy lives, but Safe Hollow could really use some volunteers. Please contact Rachel Leah or Debbie Safehollow Calicutt if you can help for even just an hour.


Several people have suggested that Safe Hollow start a fund to install cameras to ensure the safety of the rescues at Safe Hollow. Please notify us if you donate so that we can divide the funds appropriately to the correct projects.

Safe Hollow would like to thank everyone for the outpour of love and support that you have shown during this difficult time. It is in our best interest to stay positive and not give any attention to the negativity that surrounds us. I can assure you that Long County is supporting Safe Hollow. Sheriff Craig Nobles has assisted us properly, the Long County Sheriff's deputies have been courteous to us and protected us and Code Enforcement and the Health Department say they back us 100%. Mom asked that this page be started to document the good that Safe Hollow has accomplished in our community. We need a collection of stories, pictures and testimonies of how Safe Hollow has positively impacted our community. I know this whole situation is very upsetting, but we choose to remain positive. One man cannot bring us down when we have so many standing in unison with us. Most importantly, we have God leading us. When the time is appropriate, we will fight for what we believe in. Until then, let's continue to show the world what Safe Hollow is all about: LOVE and COMPASSION!"

This shelter really can use a lot of help Kittens

We need fosters for furbabies! This is the message that came across facebook:

They have killed 13 so far this morning at the SBC shelter. We are totally maxed out and have no foster room left. PLEASE PM this page if you can foster.

We need to start really protesting and getting these shelters to go to truly no kill meaning even animals 
that are sick would be kept til they are able to find a home. 

Being homeless shouldn't be a death sentence or a crime!

Always knock on your car before you start it.

Mr. Biscuits is fighting for his life. This little kitty just wanted a warm place to sleep, then he found a hot car engine. The next day, a driver pulled over to see why his steering wasn't working. When he looked under the hood, he found the kitty. Covered in burns and scared. It took firefighters hours to save him. But still, vets thought he wouldn't make it... the burns were too severe. But with a little hope and Mr. Biscuits' strength the sweetheart is fighting through. His survival even inspired his name! New Money Reiki Symbol

Hello Kittens,

I have been adding everyone who writes in to the money reiki list for financial blessings. Sorry I am not on much but I have been busy trying out a new money reiki symbol I have been working on. I am hoping it will get my Kittens their financial abundance in lightening speed.

I will be getting more to you Kittens as I can. We are working hard. We are adding more of our pet buddies to the reiki system here at home. We are adding the chickens, our birds, the dogs, the cats, and any creatures we meet out in the wild. Just recently, I have been introducing myself to a very pretty doe and her baby. Let's see if we can add them to our reiki family.

Perfect Joe. Our root chakra is the first chakra. It is the closest to the ground and we use it for grounding. What an excellent idea!!! Let's take a day to honor our chakras.

While you work on this chakra try an affirmation like, My abundance is clear and I accept all the Universe supplies or I am grounded by my roots.

We are working on a newsletter

Good Day Kittens,

Your great Reiki Masters here at the KWP Reiki Center are working on a newsletter for the Kittens. It is still in development. We are hoping to put together some articles for you, add in a healing list that will allow all Kittens to join in the Reiki healing experience, and put in information on how you can become a Reiki professional. Let us know your ideas. Let us know if you have Reiki needs. We are also looking to put a special animal in it as well that needs a forever home. Yes, Cutie, we do need to volunteer more even if just for one day. There could be a shelter, a school function, or any special occasion. Giving of your time is just as important as giving of your money. It is hard for some organizations to find the extra help they can't afford to pay for. Make a date to help.

Wonderful idea Joe. Take your change out of your pockets and put it into an old pickle jar. Not only are you recycling the jar but you are saving for your future. All those pennies add up you know just like the calories we eat.

What an excellent idea Joe!!! We can certainly all use extra cash in our savings accounts. We need that for our vacations. Which makes something else the Kittens may like, an idea of why you are saving this money. Set an amount you want to save and something you want so bad to save for. This gives you a goal and a reason to put that money away. Just like children that want that special toy or a teenager who want that first car. Now is the time. Don't let it slip by.
