Help Miracle get the help he so needs and deserves
Dear Henry,
We just welcomed an amazing cat to Bideawee. We're calling him Miracle. He has the most horrific wounds on one side of his body. We are going to spare you the images and only show you Miracle's face. They are too horrific and sad to post.
Our vets are pretty sure that Miracle's terrible wound is from an acid or boiling liquid burn that destroyed all the fur and skin right down to the muscle in several large patches. It's hard to imagine how Miracle got this way other than someone torturing this poor cat deliberately. The pain must be unbelievable with every movement.
The most amazing thing of all, is that he is the sweetest cat. I think you can see why we call him Miracle!
Miracle will require surgery in the next day or so to clean the wounds and to help the skin to regrow. We're hopeful, but he's far from out of the woods. This kind of wound can be deadly because of the danger of infection. That would be so tragic.
Please click here to make a gift of $20 or more to help us care for Miracle and so many other animals like him. We weren't counting on him in our budget this week, but when we saw him at another shelter and learned that they were about to put him down, we felt we had to give him a chance. After what someone did to him...
It will take weeks of extensive treatment to heal Miracle's wounds, but I know he's going to make an incredible pet someday. And he'll never suffer again. Please make a gift today to help us care for animals like Miracle.
Sincerely,
Nancy Taylor
