Please cross post to all shelters, ACOs and anyone doing adoptions! He will torture and kill any animal he gets his hands on. He sometimes has a woman helping him. It is best to check driver's licenses to verify identity.

I work at an animal shelter in northwest CT. Today we had to keep all our doors locked and check people (license, etc) before they entered our shelter and keep the security camera on at all times. There is a man called Jay Baldwin who just got out of jail on Thursday and on Friday he stopped at a local vet and tried to get an animal from them. They recommended our shelter and another local one (not knowing his reputation, he is known for animal abuse). Our director alerted the police who kept an eye on us and will continue to do so. He may even break into a building to get an animal.
Jay Baldwin is in his 50s, tanned and likes to wear hats. He will pay an adoption fee to get the animal and can even get violent and take the animal if thwarted. He may also send friends in to get the animal. He will use other names. So it this makes it hard to tell who he is. Hopefully adoption screening will help keep animals from him.

This is JAY BALDWIN....someone circulated a different picture of an animal abuser and confused him as Jay Baldwin as listed above..This, according to the West Waldwick shelter, is Jay Baldwin.

ReplyDeleteJay Baldwin had got another cat when he lived in Meriden and when Animal control took it, his stupid conservator and the court didn't even address it and he wasn't arrested. Jay Baldwin is in Wallingford staying at a nursing home someone told me. I found out DDS is helping him find an apartment with a program called money follows the person which basically is for those who stay in a nursing home for more then 6 month's can be eligible to transition into a community based living. Jay also had other problems in the Kennedy Building where he used to live. He took a women's pantyhose, stole someone's t-shirts, he had people living with him on and off. It won't be long before Jay get's into trouble again. I found out also DDS is also finding a way for the landlord not to do a backround check. It probably won't be long before Jay gets in trouble again.
ReplyDeleteJay is now living at Judd Square in Wallingford, CT. Which has both condominiums and apartments. Jay got an apartment from there. The landlord of course did not conduct a background check thanks to DDS. Also Jay Baldwin went with his worker named Mike from Helping People Excel down to Ansonia about a few weeks ago, Jay's worker also is a DJ and took Jay to Ansonia to see one of Jay's workers shows. But again, Jay Baldwin is now living at Judd Square on 46 South Cherry Street in Wallingford CT.
DeleteI know Jay Baldwin. He is the strangest most sheltered person I ever met. He lives here at Judd square in Wallingford Ct. He can be extremely annoying. I try my best to avoid him.. Nobody can be that sheltered from the world. This guy is putting on one hell of an act.
