Astrology, Numerology, Psychology & You!

There are some who think that astrology and numerology are false sciences. They believe nothing good can come from Reiki because no one knows what the human energy field should feel like. For those in psychology and other science based careers, I can say that all is useful.  Let’s look at repression and blockages. I would say they are the same.  Here is how. We have 3 components within the mind. They are the id, ego, and superego. The superego is all about stubborn morality, the ego tries to balance what it can and make excellent choices, while the id is screaming, ‘I WANT IT! I WANT IT! I WANT IT!’ Who can think with the id around? Who can enjoy life with the superego saying on a constant basis that is bad, don’t spend money on that, you can do without a couch? Without our ego to balance this, giving us an excellent reason that we need a new couch because the springs are out in this one which then give the superego a validity and then saying to the id well we can go with that leather one so long as it is on sale allows the id validity with the ego being the perfect balance. But if there is a blockage or repression, you will see the superego or the id in constant flow. This is bad energically as well as physically and emotionally.  We can rid our blockages along with repressions by seeing where we are overemphasizing the id or the superego which would then allow our ego to create balance for us once more.

Now you are probably asking, ‘how can astrology or numerology help with that?’ I say that they are tools we can use to learn more about our behaviors, thinking errors, fears, and desires. If you look at everything in life as a way to learn more about you then you will be able to answer the question to what choice to make without even looking at a horoscope but that takes time. It take a willingness to look beyond hype and see where you have a blockage, where you lack in balance, where you are destined to be, and how you can achieve the goals you have set before yourself. You only fail because you forgot that you built a wall. Once your walls are scaled then your desires come to fruition. Ask yourself what you need to learn? Ask yourself why you feel like you do about an object or person? Use every tool you can find to help yourself determine why you behave like you do. Whether you see a psychic or a psychologist or both, you are looking to learn, grow and change where you once where into what you so desire to be.

I think anything that can help you scale or bulldoze down a wall (blockage, repression) will be of benefit to you.  This is where you learn to cope or freeze. This is where you learn to deal in a healthy manner with something that has triggered your emotions or you start stacking bricks. Use your tools wisely and in a healthy manner. You will be surprised with what you can achieve once you know why you blocked it in the first place. Remember it is ok to fake it until you can make it. Just starting with something simple like my horoscope says today I should tackle that meeting but then saying to yourself,’ is this meeting today in my best interest?’ That is an excellent start. You know you need the meeting, you know you can handle the meeting but what if the meeting isn’t a safe place and you are going to get manipulated into something you don’t want? Would that be a positive meeting? Is this really a good time for that meeting? See your horoscope said something generic about a meeting but now you have made a choice about that meeting.  Now you have tackled the meeting. You have made the choice of whether today is a good day for the meeting or you have canceled the meeting for when you are better prepared both physically and emotionally for that meeting.  This means you are using tools at your disposal to make choices that you couldn’t make alone because you blocked yourself from this for some reason like trauma you received during childhood.  A baby step to self awareness is alright, Kittens, you need to start somewhere and at some point. This is good for you.

By the way Kittens here is what repression means: in psychodynamic theory, a defense mechanism that protects the self from anxiety by keeping unacceptable wishes, impulses, and ideas out of awareness.
