Hi, Kenny Wenny Penny!

February is viewed by many as the month to celebrate loving relationships.  The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) is proud to be the matchmaker for thousands of loving relationships between homeless and abused animals and their forever families, just like the following matches.  Your donation today can help make more matches possible.

Match 1: Keira is a 2 year old female Siberian Husky whose hind leg was injured in October 2010.  Knowing they could not afford to care for her injuries, Keira’s family tearfully put her in the care of HSPPR so she could have the x-rays, surgery, and post-surgery treatment she needed before being adopted into a new family.

Match 2: Chester is a 3 year old male cat with orange tiger-striped fur and yellow eyes. When he came to us, he had a terrible burn on his right side that our veterinarian feels he might have gotten from crawling under a car hood to stay warm. After surgery he needed time to heal and while at the shelter he stole the hearts of many employees and volunteers.

Please give today to help animals like Keira and Chester who need extra medical care before finding their match and offering their love to a new family.

Gratefully yours,

Jan McHugh-Smith
President & CEO
