There are 16 dogs that need homes by Tuesday, Feburary 8th. I am a coordinator for Animal Rescue of the Rockies and Hope for Animals. We need as many foster homes or adoption homes as we can get so we can go down to Farmington and get these dogs. Their euthanization date is tuesday so if I can call and tell them I have homes for at least some of these dogs then I can drive down there and get them. If anyone can help please call me, these dogs have been there for so long and would love a good home. If you are interested in any of the dogs I will need to do a home visit to see if your house is okay. The pictures at the bottom are the only 4 I can put up unforunately. So if you have any questions please call, email, or text me. Thank you!!! Here is a little bit of information about each dog. My cell phone number is at the bottom.
Please help these guys!! Even if you can just foster that would be a huge help for a few weeks!
Missy – Cattle Dog X – Approximately 18mos.
Bogart – Shepherd X (Husky)? Less than 2 years *(Top Left Picture)*
Shey – Husky X – approximately 3-4mos.
Dooby – Terrier X – approximately 12 mos.
Romeo – Pittie X – approximately 2-3 years of age
Jezabel-a young adult female spaniel mix - she is shy, but sweet. 25-30 lbs. She was a stray. *(Bottom Right Picture)*
Sarah -smaller girl about 20lbs and was a stray. She also is kind of shy, but very loving. We have her listed as a Lab mix, but she is small.
Gucci- was an owner surrender. She is not house broken, but does great with kids. No digging or barking. They could not afford take care of her anymore. She is about 1 yr.
Detroit-schnauzer mix 6 months old. She is house broken, has NOT been around kids. Is a good watchdog does bark a little. Is current on shots!! *(Top Right Picture)*
Cookie- a Heeler x, adult, loving personality, gets along with the other dogs, about 40 lbs. *(Bottom Left Picture)*
Dino- is siblings with Louie, heeler x, about 30 lbs, Quiet one of the two. Has a great personality and would do great in any home.
Louie -is siblings with Dino, heeler x, about 30 lbs. He thinks he has to be the center of attention.
Durango Joe- is a very mellow fellow. He has a very easy going personality, this guy would be great for a laz-around-the house dog. He does great with the others, even the load and rowdy ones!! Truly a great guy, he probably weights about 50 or so pounds.
LoLo -is about 1yr old adorable chi x, she is an adult about 15-20 lbs, don't quote me on that LOL. She does wonderfully with others. She was left here in a carrier outside our front gate last week - in the cold weather!
Lady Ann- talk about a sweet heart, she is a B.Collie/Aussy mix around a year old. Does well with the others and is a little on the shy side but to worries when she warms up. She probably weighs about 40 lbs.
Honey Bear -is kind of timid and will need a little time one on one with someone, but she gets along with the other dogs. I have not heard her bark at all, or had any problems with her - she is shy.
Thanks again,
Brittany
